Assalam-o-Alaikum Volume 8, Book 73, Number 2 :

Narrated by Abu Huraira

A man came to Allah's Apostle and said, "O Allah's Apostle! Who is more entitled to be treated with the best companionship by me?" The Prophet said, "Your mother." The man said. "Who is next?" Beautiful Hadith about Death ....

Assalam-o-Alaikum,

Abu Huraira RA reported Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) as saying: Did you not see when the man died and his eyes were fixedly open? He (Abu Huraira) said: Yes. He (the Holy Prophet) said: It is due to the fact that when (the soul leaves the body) his eyesight follows the soul.
